Kelsie is the owner and managing partner of Royal & Cross, LLC. She is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia and is an active member of the Gwinnett County Bar Association and the Western Circuit Bar Association in the Athens/Oconee County area. Kelsie’s entire practice specializes in the areas of family law litigation. Her family law practice includes divorce, custody issues, child support, spousal support, legitimation and paternity, family violence, prenuptial agreements, adoption, modification actions, enforcement actions and estate planning. She has vast experience in highly contested custody cases as well as high profile, complex financial disputes related to divorce actions. Kelsie is also a trained and experienced Guardian Ad Litem. As a Guardian Ad Litem she advocates for the best interests of the children involved in various family law matters. Kelsie focuses her career on helping people and families navigate the immense and inevitable difficulties involved in domestic litigation.
Kelsie is passionate about volunteer work and giving back to the community in which she lives. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Brightpaths, a non-profit organization based in Athens, Georgia that works to equip parents with helpful parenting tools and resources in order to prevent all forms of child abuse. Kelsie volunteers her time working pro bono cases for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, and she also serves as an Attorney Coach for high school mock trial teams.
Kelsie and her husband, Luke, are licensed foster parents, and they also have three biological children.
Kelsie received both her undergraduate degree and her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she graduated cum laude – go dawgs!
